Split, Croatia

Jess, Lacey, Maekayla, Megan, and I arrived to Split, Croatia April 17th around 4:30 P.M. Upon arrival, the scenery was gorgeous because the mountains in the distance circled around us like a large stadium. After customs, we were told to meet up with a man that would give us a ride to our Airbnb and give us the rules when we arrived. The view of our Airbnb was amazing because we had a view of the mountains and the sea, which made it nice when you woke up in the morning. The Next day, all of us decided to be lazy and sleep in around twelve o clock in the afternoon, but that was the point of this trip – to be lazy. Jess, Megan, Maekayla, and I went to the Split shopping mall around five P.M. for the hell of it and to see what the mall had to offer. Going into the mall I decided that I didn’t want anything unless desire reasons; I purchased two shirts and one pair of shorts. When the four us went back to the apartment, Sheyenne & Breanna told us to meet up with them before they departed the next day, which the five of us meet up with them and had delicious burgers and beer. April 19th is when we headed to the beach, but we needed essential item such as beer, granola bars, vodka, beer, water, and most importantly – beer. The beach that we landed on was amazing because it has this beautiful view of the mountains in the background while swimming in crystal clear blue waters. All we did that day was hang out and let the sun rays kiss our skins till it turned pink, but that was the plan from the start.

April 20th: April 20th is a day that I will always remember because that’s when we went to Krka National Park. You had to arrive there by boat and that probably took about 30 minutes or so. When we got there, the tour started and the first attraction was this beautiful waterfall that looked like it was out of a sci-fi film. We then went to this little town and the tour guide explained the significance of how the waterfall helped this town grow and prosper. After the tour, the group just explored the island, until we came back to the first waterfall that we saw. There were people jumping in and swimming around in there, so the logical thing was to go in and swim around. The water was very cold, but that didn’t matter to us.
